The book is one voice. These evenings are all of them — the clinicians, the families, and the young men who lived it, in the same room, talking honestly about what happened and what has to change.
The Light Within the Walls is set inside the facilities C.P. Handler worked in here in Ohio. Miami is where she lives now, but Cleveland is where the story happened — which means the people in the book can be in the room. The evening opens with introductions, moves into a panel discussion and an audience Q&A, and closes with a signing.
